Description: 

Beginning on Feb. 12, Iraqi soldiers clashed with ISIS militants, with ISIS capturing most of the town that day. By Feb. 13, Iraqi forces had retaken several government buildings but then early Feb. 14, the soldiers withdrew without explanation, leaving the town to be completely retaken by ISIS.
